Default Japan AP2s different?

Do the Japan S2000s ('04+) still have a 9000 rpm redline?

I've been watching some BMI videos and it looks like the newer S still has the 9000 rpm redline.

i've heard that they are still producing cars with the F20C motor, thus the 9k redline.

Are you sure?

On Best Motoring International (BMI) they said that the new (2004+) S has 2.2L displacement.

from 06 the ap2 in japan gets the 2.2 thus the ap "2" and the redline is reduced to 8000. the 04+ is still an ap1 (130) still had the 2 litre
