Default internet question

sorry this is not S2k related.

I did't want to ask FH, too many retards on there.

But i am moving down to waikiki pretty soon, and i need cable internet. I have been using Roadrunner for awhile now, but i think verizion is offering a broadband connection service and they say "its faster". Anybody has any experience with them? Appericate it.

Well now days its not really about speed since most are almost the same but more about location... If you are in a bad location meaning to many people with the same connection then you will be as fast as your slowest person sucking all your band, downloading things and leaving it on all night long like me hehehe

I have roadrunner, digital phone, and HD cable with Oceanic and they've always been good to me. I tried DSL once and it sucked, but I was living in an old highrise apartment with crappy phone lines.

i know a clearwire agent, I have it and in my opinion i feel its faster than roadrunner, you can avoid long lines and you can take your modem anywhere and stay conected even in your car. let me know and ill have him call you 808-386-4444

i think RR is clocked at 3 Mbs but overrated at 1.5 Mbs.(because of the amount of users)

Clearwire states 1.5 Mbs But clocks at 3 Mbs ... from what the satalite guys say over on king. try it out i pmed you the dealers info he said you can try it out .it requires no connections to the modem except for power cord.

Clearwire being faster than RR? That I gotta see.

Clearwire demoed their ISP in one of the conventions that I attended. I did a DSL Speed test and found it to be 128kbit download! You sure it's 3Mb?
