GEICO full coverage $250 collision, $250 comprehensive = $804 annually

i get so much discount that this is the same amount that i was paying on the supra for just liability

i get discounts for clean record, air bags, abs, and anti theft.

Yo wade the S came out to be almost the same price as my Celica. Probably won't be much more than your 240.

nope not a typo. i dunno how its so cheap.

i think cause if i cause property damage the limit is only $10k

it might also be because i drive only about 3k a year and i drive 0 miles to werk, i just walk to werk.

I'd say it's cheap because Hawaii Automobile Insurance rates are based upon your driving abstract. They don't discriminate against age, it all just depends on your driving record. Heck yeah that's cheap, the prices they pay are half of what I pay for every 6 months!!! It's due to the fact that I have a horrible abstract though. But yeah, insurance is set upon your driving abstract only. If you have minor moving violations, like one or two, it shouldn't be too bad, but if your abstract sheet is dirty like mines, then look forward to paying high insurance premiums for your S. Oh, and forgot to mention, it's also could be due to the fact that some insurance companies go upon car classification, which of course we all know, the S is classified as a sports car... And I have coverage w/GEICO, $500 deductible for collision/comprehensive, rent-a-car included, and roadside assistance and whatever what not it comes w/...

they dont descriminate against age, but they do look at the number of years that you've been driving. cause when i was driving for 5 years i noticed a dramatic drop in my insurance rate.

I wasn't aware of that. It's not like it would help me anyway though. Only time, and subtle driving will help me. I have a couple of violations being cleared @ the end of the year, but have to wait another year and a half to two for the others to be cleaned off my slate. Then, I should see a dramatic price drop in my premiums. As for now though, I'll be paying some cheddar to drive my S... =

i've got allstate, for some reason, they were the cheapest around which is still a lot. mine is like $1100 for 6 months and it's supposedly going down to about $800 in 6 months. damn punks, didnt explain to me that it wouldnt go down at once.

geico looks back at your last 5 years right? my abstract is clean for the past 3 years...
