Default Information Help Needed

I was wondering if anyone knew the best way to hook up a defi link tach or just a tach in general? The other BF defi gauges were easy but not sure how to do the tach. I have seen those that hooked most of the wires to the cruise control but dont know about the signal wire.

prolly the best way would be to draw a wire from the tach signal to the ecu, if you can find the pin out

I would probably hook it up the same way Modifry has people tap into the tach signal for his Redline Shift Beeper. The wire is located under the passenger side of the dash and would take about 30 seconds to tap into. Radio shack sells the crimp on taps that allow you to branch off of a wire without having to cut it. A pic of where the wire is at is below, taken from Modifry's install instructions. I still have some spare connectors in my tool box, if you want some help messing with your wires I'll be home by noon on Friday.

In the screen capture below you want the BLUE wire and NOT the LIGHT BLUE wire as indicated in the top left pic. It's the same one in the bottom pic with a White wire connected to it by a red T tap. I would do the same thing to that same wire for your Tach input. I haven't worked with Defi gauges but this sounds like what your looking for.
