If there was no S2000...
What did you also think about getting and what stopped you from making that decision?
1. Mazda RX7 FC3S (turbo 2nd gen) - hard to find one in good shape
2. WRX - contemplated it before buying my S, but I didn't like the sound when you
close the door (sounded really cheap). The car's shifter felt cheap. Although
it made a nice sound (test car had an
aftermarket exhaust).
3. Evo 8 - did you see what the wanted for it for the first year? They were out of
their mind!

Got my S2k because of a recommendation to try it. The most frightening thing I experienced during the test drive was the amount of fun I was having behind the wheel. That feeling has never left me, even till today.

my first choice was an MKIV TT Supra, but the price of a good used one is still insane. if it weren't for the S2K, idk theres nothing out there now that i would want and could actually afford... thank you Honda for this awesome car!

For me, M roadster, Corvette C5. (As everyone knows, I like to spend beyond my means ).
I've been extremely happy with the s2000. It really raised the bar in the automotive world.
