Hmmm, I'm coming a lil late on this thread... never had anyone rev on me before. However, my first night I drove home with my S, an older 80's TA paced next to me on the highway but I never went. He took off in a blaze of glory . Had it for a year and nothing.

I've yet to get revved on in my WRX either, and I'm going on 7mos. of ownership. Only time I remember getting revved on was with my 1G AWD DSM (2 yrs ago).

not a big fan of the bmw e90 but they are all time high sales wise..

If you do decide to go the 335 route then make sure you get the sport package with the larger oil cooler. Those engines run really hot, as would anything with two turbos, and BMW has had some problems keeping them as cool as they should to run right. There were a lot of tests done on the motors while I was still living in Germany and they ran into issues where the ECU would put the car in limp home mode after a few spirited runs on some twisty roads. Now this might not seem like that big of a deal, but keep in mind that these tests were done during the Autumn over there in Bayern and ambient temperatures rarely top the mid 60's that time of year. If they had instances of the motors topping 300 F in those air temps then I would hate to think how they would react down here.
