A friend thinks he can get me a Cwest style body kit at cost, which is an awsome deal. On the other hand I may be able to pick up a used J's Type S front bumper and side skirts in carbon fiber, but they are currently painted silver. What is going to determine which way I go is the cost of body work. TechOne wants a thousand dollars to paint and install a kit, and that would mean no money for the J's kit.

Between the two I've decided I like the Cwest look a little more, but would rather be different and provide Hawaii with some variety by going with the J's kit.

If you happen to have any hookups with some local body shops and would like to help me out give me a PM. I'll be at the Navy Exchange Mall for their anual car show on June 11, and would be more than happy to pass out cards and help out any shop that helps me out. I took 2nd place last year, 3rd the year before, and hope to make 1st this year.

i would stay away from "style" kits as they dont fit well and tend to be wavy. i would say get the j's but i guess like you said it would be silver...sebring? haha!

The J's kit is real and is carbon fiber. It is used and has been painted silver similar to this pic with the carbon fiber showing on the bottom. A body shop would need to paint the silver parts red. It would only be the front bumper and side skirts, no rear bumper.

The Cwest style is fake, but brand new. It would only cost me about $450.00 SHIPPED. Problems could arise with fitment, but even if it did cost $1000 to fit and paint, $1450.00 is still just the purchase price of the J's piece before I get it painted.

This is why I would need to get a good deal on the paintjob in order to make the J's affordable.

Quick Reply: I think I'm going to put a Cwest kit together.
