6061 aluminum needs almost 1000'F to solutionize meaning thats when the molecular stucture of aluminum will change. anything but the aging temp is about 320~350'F depending on the process the wheel was made. aging will harden the aluminum but you need to heat the wheel for a period of time for it to develop a T number. depending on the curing temp of the PC and the time of heating it may harden the wheel or simply have no effect.
