Default I need a shop to paint my wheels?

As per my project HRE refinish thread HERE, I'm going to get my HREs refinished. I might stay gloss black but I'm entertaining some other ideas as well. I like the satin gray used on Kinesis wheels a lot. I'm looking for a reputable shop that can do good quality work on stuff like this. Any ideas? They are pricey wheels, so I want to have a really good paint job put on them.

This may not help you any but if I had HREs the only place I would have paint them would be HRE.

Yeah I know. Taking apart 3pc wheels isn't as big a deal as people think though. I want to do it myself. I've already had them apart a couple times. I just want to do a color change this time though....well....maybe.

Haha, yeah. But the corrosion on the lips is normal. The faces are in great shape. It's just that having black wheels is one of those things you always want, until you have it. I REALLY like the way black on black looks, but I think I might want something with just a bit of contrast to it. I dunno, I'm really on the fence.

Where's Cosmic? I'm not familiar with them.

cosmic is by k-mart in iwilei. They are next door neighbors to cycle sports the suzuki motorcycle dealer. if you are heading from mils to town, go on nimitz and when you get to zippys by sam choys turn left. Follow that road past city mill and turn right at the end of that street (dole theatres will now be on your right) continue on that road to the next intersection, kmart will be on your right. turn left and go to the building with all the airbrush all over it.

they are some of the best painters on the island. they mostly specialize in airbrush, but I had them do a whole paint job (with airbrush) on my busa and it came out awesome.

I sent Cosmic an Email, we'll see if I hear back. If not I'll just run down there sometime soon. It looks like they do some good work.

cool man, another good option is powdercoating. there is a guy in campbell and in PCI that both do it. It's certainly tougher (more durable) than paint, and if you are just doing the wheel centers it may be real cheap.

i think the place in PCI is called paradise coatings, but i'm not sure.
