thats what my friend said and magazines dyno numbers. but if you really look at the rsx-s headder its trash. the headder is welded on the inside acting like an artery clogged with saturated fat. if you ground all that down and welded the outside then i bet that would make a world of difference in power. thats why i done doubt that changeing the headder would make the biggest difference in power on the k20a.

oh and back to the subject vtec in 5th... you wont feel a pull. after 100mph i dont feel a pull at all

i never went tracks thats why i topped out my car.... got to admit was super fun i just dont know why my vtec doesnt pull ;/ other then that last night put a g35 to shame lol from dead stop at a light about a mile down he was about 15 cars behind

There's a lot of factors that could attribute to the G being so far behind, but all things being equal, the race should be more even as the Infiniti's are pretty fast. Their superior torque and aerodynamics should definitely come into play in the higher gears. My guess is the other driver was half-heartedly pursuing you, either out of mild curiosity, or he was too scared (or smart) to go all out on the public road. That or mechanical problems.
I had a 'speed competition' (legal of course!) with a former s2k owner in his new G and though I slowly pulled from him, it would not have been more than a couple car lengths in a mile and that's with my estimated +15 hp (he was stock).
