i duno what its called exactly. but its like this infrared remot that u add to your aftermarket deck and you can still use your dirvers side audio controls.

the thing really does werk, but there is kinda a lag. like you gotta hold the volume swich for a bit before it will get louder/softer.

That's the part that acts like a remote right? Is it hard to install?

There is the MODIFRY DCI and a dj kube ( i think its called DJKUBE) dash control thing. I have the DCI and it works pretty good. I have a sony deck and I can use the dash control to turn the volume up and down, change tracks on the cd up and down, I can change the radio station like the seek buttom but it doesn't go to the pre-programed stations. You can also change the source like cd/fm/am/aux.

If you want to use the DJKUBE one you have to send him your remote and your dash controls. I don't know more info about it so you'll have to do a search on it.

I just havn't been able to find out how to hook up the mute botton yet.

yeah miines is like a remote.

i didnt install it, but it seems to be like a little antenna thingy coming out the back of the deck.

I think the one that has the antanna thingy is the DJKUBE one. I didn't like the fact that you had to send it to him for him to hardwire. plus you loose the remote for your deck to.

I think you can get the MODIFRY DCI from the go fast lab on this forum. Look for the modifry DCI and make sure you get the correct one. Theres a description on the one that will work with your headunit so read carefully and send modifry an email if you not sure. He will answer your pms within a day usually.

I'm not sure where to buy the DJKUBE one.

The thing that i called DJ kube was actually spelled DJ QUBE. Here is a link to the site where he talks about it.
