so yea i just figured that maybe my filter was a tad bit wet so i let it dry out and i pulled it off and kinda wiped it down and put it back on...yea definitely doesnt even crank over just a clunk everytime i hit the ignition button...i have had this happen before so i know that i hydrolocked the engine/spun a rod cause well thats the only reasonable explanation...so now i am going to try to pull the engine myself...well maybe that can wait cause i dont really know exactly what i am doing...and i wish insurance ould cover something like this or my extended warranty...but alas neither cover acts of nature which is the gayest shit i have ever heard...and it happend at the most inopportune moment as well when im broke as hell

i didnt hit the gas i coasted through it but it was enough to soak my filter and get into the lower intake piping...so i called taka and he told me some good advice and it worked and now my engine is up and running...kinda sounding funny and medium thick white smoke is coming from my exhaust...hope thats just the water burning through the engine...its not puttering or being sluggish or anything like that...but there is i weird hissing sort of sound coming from the area of thr throttle body/intake manifold perhaps???...well in the general area...gonna let it run for like an hour...any advice from you guys as what to do next???

Check your oil, if water got past your rings you might have emulsified oil. I don't know how much water you took in but that is one of the first things I would do.

Why do you think you spun a bearing?

check engine light has always been on since i put my intake, headers, test pipe and exhaust on so im not worried about that...i can always scan the code and then reset in the ecu
