normally when it's going, the clutch pedal rides and grabs higher.

if you have air/leak in the system the clutch may get stuck in a lower position, if your clutch is sliping you may overev more for clutch engagement, if your master cylinder is leaking you should see bubbles or fluid aroud or in the master cylinder when you pump on the clutch...

dont really know the details of your problem but my prelude had similar problem.

unless you havent flushed you clutch fluid or someone messed with it I dont see how your clutch cylinder would go bad on a car less than 6 years old?


your trans should be ok just drive it around after you take care of the clutch problem. when I changed a wrx tranny it had a hard time going into 1st and reverse for a couple days just had to drive it.

but yeah do a full clutch flush, if still no help might be a berring in the trans depends if it grabs at all

dunno it seems hardtop guy has the best deals. he beats some of our prices at our cost!

ok maybe i just have to drive it for a bit. cause when it had the wrong fluid in there it took about a week or 2 to get bad...so maybe it will take a week or so to get better

shift quality normally doesn't affect the feeling taka described in your pedal though.

did anyone open up the hydraulic system when they serviced the tranny? maybe they screwed something up.
