I am moving to Hawaii

I shipped with Pasha, I was very happy. Military also ships a lot with Pasha. Drove the S from Virginia to San Diego in about 8 days, wasn't too bad. Pasha has a ship designed for shipping vehicles. Everything gets strapped down and vehicles are inside the ship and away from salt air. I almost went with horizon, but I know how containers get moved around at the dock and it made me nervous to put my car in one. (I do a lot of logistics between the islands and stuff always gets banged up) So yes, it's great to have the car in a container to keep it from being exposed to moisture, but I thought it better that it's on a ship designed to transport vehicles.
Not quite year round autocross, there is a break in the summer strangely enough, due to a fair that occupies the lot where we race.

It worries me that you say containers tend to get banged up. My employer has told me they may want to ship my vehicle and furniture in one container. Should I have any hesitation on that method?

I mean... it seems quite common so surely they have devised a trustworthy method of dividing and securing the container for both the vehicle and the furniture, yeah?

Dammit guys, I had myself convinced that my car would be fine but now I'm hesitant again. It's also more convenient because I can't get the S2000 to port with all this snow right now. And it's supposed to snow another foot tomorrow. And then again next week!! Can't wait to get out there where I can drive the S every day...
I'll talk with my moving people tomorrow about it.
Another thing... I'm looking at places to live. Can anyone tell me where NOT to live on Oahu? I'm getting the impression that there's some places that are a bit sketchy unless you're a local.
