just about $600 every 6 mos for full coverage with geico. this is with a $500 deductible and i also have one moving violation that is soon to be cleared. the bad news is some of the other members are getting raped on their insurance premiums. the good news is i just saved a ton of money on my car insurance by switching to geico! ok not really a ton, but it was considerable.

The name is Stephen, but ironically, I get called Curry a lot
Of course we can give you advice, but I'm not necessarily the expert.
Colin and Hyper-x (Jimmy) know more about the mechanical aspect of the car.
Maybe they'll chime in here, or you can PM them.
Colin works at Pflueger Acura (but also can sell S2000's at Honda) and has an encyclopedia's worth of information in his head about the s2k.
I'll help out where I can. You should come out to the next meet we have.
You can always call me if you want (220-5073).
I'll be going to N.Y. for the next 2 weeks, but should be back by the 4th of July weekend.
Currently, I only know of one used S2k for sale locally, but it's supercharged and the owner is asking quite a bit for it (31k!!).

I have no experience with ebay, so I can't comment.
If you don't plan on keeping it for a long time, just get it locally. Something will pop up. It always does.
