ok. what the heck is up with the Mclarens? gearbox problems for JPM while cruising to an apparantly easy win? at least kimi got some luck that WASN'T bad.
San Jose?! i love champ cars, and i love motocross, but champ cars should not be doing doubles over the railroad tracks. i feel sorry for the men in those racecars. they were actually three or four inches off the ground! and did you hear the sound of them launching/crashing, it was louder than the motors.

Yeah, the mcLarens remind me of the old Lotus GP cars. Fast but fragile. I agree on San Jose! What a terrible race track for champ cars! Robin Miller suggested that they might move to a more suitable location next year. They need a passing zone, and a wider track! Look at Edmonton, Cleavland and the Mile Wide Turn at Denver (next race).

That track was nearly impossible to pass people. No wonder MS held onto 2nd. I was amazed at how many cars DNF. Too bad for Red Bull...
At least Sato finally scored points for BAR. I wonder if his career in still in jeopardy.
Man, the rumours are still flying. JB now wants to stay at BAR??? He seems pretty flaky, but I guess that's to be expected because he's still young. Can't wait to see how this contract situation unfolds.
Man, after JPM's car broke down, I thought it would be just a matter of time before Kimi's car failed given the failures he's had in the past. McLaren really needs to work on their reliability issues. If they get that fixed, I think they would be race leaders.

Yeah it is, ha ha, you try to find a picture of the current BAR engine!
Definitely a beast Rumored to be the most powerful F1 engine on the grid. It's just too bad BAR's aero isn't up to par to utilize Honda's hp advantage...yet!

^u sure? i thought toyota's been audioed at a slightly higher level.
nonetheless, i still find it amazing how the teams use that super sensitive microphones to record engine pulses/rpms and match them with superaccurate speed readings and gear ratio approximations to extrapolate horsepower numbers of other teams cars.
crazy!!
