anyone upgraded their HID's to someother Output, I was looking into 8500K, can anyone let me know how this may look like? I want an output that keeps it the violet color when I start up the car.
Thanks,
Also, is there any particular brand that one prefers.

why? u like not being able to see?
anything higher then 4300k gives off a bluish tint, that is
(1) illegal
(2) scatters easier, blinding other drivers, and doesnt project as well on the road.

are you willing to trade off lowered light output for the "bling" factor of having purple lights? the temperature of the stock bulbs are optimal for maximum light output.

Since the headlights are already made for HIDs, all you are really doing is replacing the bulb which gives it the color.
I say do it...
