Hi from cali
so yah i shipped my car over to cali. decided to visit my uncle who lives up north, which is convenient cuz there r tons of curvy mountain roads up there...
lost traction and hit an embankment. cliff on other side so i got lucky. oh yeah, spun around and hit the back too, pass side muffler is shoved forward and the rear bumper is trashed, will need to be replaced. when i called the body shop guy said "well im not quite done with the estimate but so far its around $10,500."
So I guess it means I'm buyin a new one.

just curious. What tires are you running? How much tread was there? Was this driver's error or equipment error? If you were in an AP2, would the situation be better?
I'm sorry for you loss, but you know, you are lucky to be alive...

Wow. california is more dangerous and unexpected. Keep it in the track is my safe bet. I just went on a mountain run with a couple friends. If I knew this before-hand, I would've taken more precautions. Ouch for your lost. I'm 10x scarred and paranoid now.
