Default hawaii raceway

Nice turn out at the track on friday I saw 3 other s2000 out there. one still had dealer plates The other stalled at the tree ouch... Dont worry nobody was watching j/k next time we should all hook up and represent. as for me well I finally got my 60ft down to 2.1 well hope to see more of us out there....klem

Yeah that was me it was my first time running i was kinda nervous....
a couple of guys from my submarine decided to do bracket racing so i joined them well my best time was 15.4 seconds at 88 mph, i was shifting at 7500 rpms and with a reflex time of 1.4 seconds..... pretty sucky i would say

I think Conor used to get from 14.1- 14.5 consistently when he did the high rpm drop. Very hard on your tranny though and risky on your differential.
I've heard that HRP will yield worse times than a comparable car on a good mainland track, though I have no proof of this.

A chief on my last boat runs a C4 corvette out there at HRP, says it's much slower than the strips he was running on mainland, and he's been doing it for a while in both places.

Thanks for the confirmation!
Now I don't feel too bad about not breaking into the 13's
Of course, if I did, they would not permit me to run anymore until I get a roll cage installed due to the s2k being a convertible.
