Greetings from "Rain Land"; Does The Salt Air....
....affect your beautiful S2000's?? There is a chance that mywife and I may relocate to Maui and I am concerned about the salt air's effect on the aluminum, paint, etc.
Do you always garage your car? Is there any special treatment to prevent damage? (It may not be any worse than the constant freakin' rain in the Pacific Northwest):
Any advice is greatly appreciated. I may considering selling my beautiful 02 S if we do relocate.
Regards

Thanks Silvers 808;
Good to hear. I grew up in San Diego and remember the cars that were parked along the beach cities and they seemed to be really hit from the ocean air.
Many thanks

If you're parked right along the coastline day in and day out you will have rust for sure, but if you're further in-land I wouldn't think it would be a problem. There is more than average salt content in the air here, but as long as you wash your car regularly, I wouldn't think it would be too much of a problem.
