AWESOME!!!

Does this mean that we are going to have another skilled driver at the wheel of an s2k at the local autocross Mr. Guzman?
Nice color choice by the way.

dunno about the skilled driver part, but i'll be running that car in ASP...i got the mods on order...some tein coilovers and some other goodies...i wanna play with jimmy, elton, and andy...

just kidding...no mods on order...not gonna race it (yet) either...trying to mess with jimmy

it'll be a while before i "officially" run it...maybe a few fun runs before i try to race it for times...i just got the r-compounds for the M3, so gotta use those up first...and i'm just much more comfortable in the M3 for now...

you guys gotta teach me how to drive this thing too...i'm aware of the snap oversteer that can occur, any other quirks about the car (handling or otherwise) that i should know about???

i'm happy to finally have a s2k!

You already drive a RWD car, so you're pretty much set. It's just less forgiving past the limit than your M3.

Congrats and proud to have you as a fellow owner

Dayum Jay, that's one sweet looking car.. what year is it?

Your auto-x driving experience is superior to mine so I'd imagine that you won't need too much coaching to learn the basics of the car. One of the traits I've been envious about you and Colin is that you both adapt to the course designs rather quickly (since both of you tend to make your best times in the first couple of runs, rather than the latter 2). If you do plan on running in ASP, I'll promise you a good fight (unless you end up turning times like your M3 recently...)

Your M3 is an amazing machine... you got into the top 10 easily with your new tires. It's like you waited for this time of the year to remind all of us who you are and who's the man.

hey jimmy, it's a 2002...

and i didnt wait for this time of year to get new tires for the M3 to "remind everybody" as you put it- i HAD to get new tires...my tires were past the wear bars, and for a few events, i was running with a nail and slow leak in one of my old tires

i was just too cheap to replace them right away...

colin and i have been autoxing a little longer than you have, so experience comes into play..you've given me hard rubs in BS also...and you've been winning your class, so you must be doing something right

for the part about getting better times in the earlier runs, i think i just screw up more in the latter ones, trying to push it more...

Oh, and just remember, that's not a lack of torque you feel, it's Honda Traction Control.
