Hows everyone doin? I grew up on Oahu until i was 12 and decided i should come back for school.just checkin to see how the s2k scene is out here. I'll be moving back to the islands this summer for UH and wasn't sure if i should ship my car over.

ship it.. there's a ton of us snooping around. fill it up with cheap mainland buys while you are at it.. then when you get here, sell all the deals you got and break even on shipping.. Or just bu everything you want for the car before you come, because shipping is nuttttttttttttttttttttsssssssss. WELCOME!

welcome back! we try to meet every or every other week and have a cruise bi-monthly.
shipping will range from $1000 to $1700. i say ship the s! see you in the summer.

They won't let you pack additional items in the car when you ship it. Even if you did, chances are that a lot of the stuff would 'walk away'. When I shipped my car back from WA, the car was empty but they fuggin' stole a CD from my deck!

hopefully my seats will still be in the car..ther's been a seat stealing epidemic here in WA...s2k seats were even on the news

You'll have more top down time here than in WA.

To be in college, in Hawaii, with an S, life doesn't get too much better than that.

as long as i can make my 700 a month housing payment plus food and gas...then yes it should be great! as a last resort 40 hr/week job at minimum wage should cover

invest in seat locks.. especially in hawaii. lots of honda's here would love to have your seats!

maybe you can stuff your trunk full of goodies, lock the glove compartment, and give the shipping company the valet key so they cant open your trunk.
