^it was originally a show car that was displayed around europe, prolly was too much hassle to put together a manual, plus it's easier to make an auto handle 800hp than a manual.

plus, who needs to shift when you have that much power. top speed is claimed to be over 200mph!! with a 3speed auto

You beat me to it! I was going to load some pics of the 1950 GM Futureliner bus. That bus is sick and insane in value. Apparently only a hand full exits and two or three fully restored.

yea when you have that much torque i guess its ok... but i just hate how they shift up when you dont want them to...

prolly has a manual shift body and a big shift kit in it. complete manual control, just no clutch

^Yup, it was $14.8million but when you add the auction commision fee and the other charges, it went over 15million. That was in the GTO's prime days. Now it's probably worth half. Shitty investment on his part.

wait 5-10 years, when the american muscle craze has faded, then the gt/sports cars of the 60's will reign the value charts again.
