I got to see them on the way home! They flew above me while I was stuck in traffic around Red Hill/Ft. Shafter. I bet they caused the backlog, which was heavier than usual, and possibly the two rear-endings I saw. But they were awesome!! Definitely not something you see every day.

dammit i couldn't see them! i woke up to them this morning and i thought, WTF is THAT??? it would be super cool to see the show on saturday. taka will be working. what's everyone else doing?

Hey, let's all go down to Waikiki and check it out. It lasts an hour (2:30-3:30). The best viewing spot would be the beach right by Halekulani.

That's a good idea actually. I read in the paper that the amount of people in Waikiki will swell from the usual 110k people to over 150k for that event and the aloha week festivities and that parking may be a problem.
I think I'm just going to walk there since it only takes 15-20 minutes from my apartment.
