stock ecu. everyone either baselines or wants to see if their mods really worked

I thought mods with stock ecu makes power for the first couple of days, and then something like the ecu learns something and ends up not making any power gains.
I could be comepletely off and probably am. Just something I read/ heard.

But I guess I'd be down to see how power I'm making.
THe car came with h&k intake(wanna pick up that j's that's for sale), and not sure what kind of exhaust.

Depends on the day for me too.
If it's next month sometime I'd be able to request off most likely.
