Default dumb question about transmission fluid

where is it located so i can check it.Sorry for the dumb question.Thanks guys.

the tranny fluid is in the transmission.

i think he's referring to a dipstick, pete. and there is no dipstick, B-Mir. if it aint leaking, it's still there.

1. You have to jack up your car and place it on jack stands or have a car lift elevate off the groud so you can get under it. It is important that the car is in a level position to check the fluid level.

2. Remove the transmission fill plug (located midway on the side transmission) if trans oil comes out of the fill plug hole it is full. If not fill it until oil does flow out lightly.

onyl use honda crap tranny fluid. i had a really bad experience with synthetics.

um...redline i think. it was a while ago.

i couldnt even get my car in reverse. iit was a nightmare

damn thats messed up! makes me wonder if i should even bother using this GM syncromesh i have lying around...

Don't worry Justin, I got the GM syncromesh in my car and the shifting is silky smooth. You're more than welcome to drive my car if you need to check it out.
