so a day after my test pipe went on the cel came on and well last night (2 weeks later) it just turned off. does this happen? maybe it was the rain or sumthin but anyone know? and is it still stored in the ecu?

Yes I believe it can go away after a number of "normal" driving cycles.

no wonder mine won't go off...it requires "normal" driving.

I installed the Megan pipo with the anti-foulers and they work perfect with no cel and also with no can-o-bees sound it is much louder at higher rpm's and a bit more kick.

well the cel came back on so it must have been the rain that turned it off becasue it was really rainy yesterday and today it was sunny all day and it turned back on.

Did you try resetting the ecu? I got rid of some CEL's that way. Actually only one I think.

its called just take out the bulb in the dash and you will never see it again

The CEL will go on when it currently sees a problem. Your ECU senses an out of spec condition depending on the environment/driving style. If you drive in such a way that you stay within the parameters; no code. The CEL remains stored in memory until you erase it.
