My tops RH latch broke. the plastic hook on the inside that holds the latch up and locked broke. the honda dealer is charging $174 buck. Honda won't sell just the hook, it has to be ordered as a latch assembly. all i need is the hook part.

So, does anyone know of a totalled S2000 in any junk yard or know of someone parting out one there S2K.

i don't feeling dishing out $174 on a part that is about as big as my pinky finger. why the heck did they make it out of plastic anyways!!! SHET!!!

wow honda is a bunch of bastards!

i wanted to get just the plastic peice that goes around the shift boot and i would have had to buy the entire center counsel to get that one part.

on the other hand...i wanted to put windshield washers on my car and they didnt have a kit with the nozzels and hoses and clips so i had to buy about 27 individual peices or something like that. it was pretty retarded.

im headin to a junkyard in NV today ill look for your latch if i see a crashed s2k. will let you know next week when im back

Mine was towed out to Campbell I believe. Idk what it's called or exactly where it is, but I know it's out there.
