Default Ding in my fender!

Well, my car now has a dent.

Just a small ding above the passenger side rear wheel....right on the edge of the fender where it transitions from vertical onto the angle. I'm sure some considerate soul slammed their door into it.

Anyone have any suggestions on getting it out? Fortunately the paint isn't chipped or scratched, so it should be totally repairable.

On a happier note, my wife and I just moved into our new house in Kaneohe. I guess I need to change my profile on here.

Call Chad Raynor @ 306-9189, tell him you're my friend (Colin @ Acura). Very good paintless dent removal, good guy and mobile so he'll come to you. FWIW, Fran has one about 6" from the drivers door on the rear quarter about level with the door handle. We see it EVERY time you get in the car! Sucks since we got it in the first week of ownership!

Congrats on you new home in Kaneohe. I was from there, what part of Kaneohe are you at? Nothing like driving through those tunnels after work. Not matter how bad your day, that windward view just takes it all away... CONGRATS!

Your lucky, I really miss living in Kaneohe. Just like Darth said, going home through those tunnels was great. So were the waterfalls in my backyard every morning... I lived up against the mountain side near the Valley of Temples.

The new house is in Haiku Village....It's been a bit on the rainy side since we moved in, but like you said, the waterfalls are awesome coming down the mountainside. You guys are also right about the drive....you can't beat the commute from Pearl Harbor to Kaneohe. I get my doses of VTEC when I go through the H-3 tunnel twice a day.

Colin, thanks for the dent removal tip. I'll give him a call.

One other thing ....I've got a pretty nasty dash rattle too. It's gotten to the point where I definitely think I need to take it in. Do any of the Honda dealerships here give loaners while your car is in for warranty service?

Your car is not a virgin anymore, huh? I know how you feel.
Now that I got my car fixed (he also took out all of the door dings), I'm being extra careful where I park, but I know some a**hole is going to open their door into the bodywork eventually.

Congratulations on your new house though!
