Default Did anyone ride the road to Hana(Maui)with the S ?

Visited some friends 3 years ago in Kihei and we did the Road to Hana in an old Madza.

This is such a great road.

I always wanted to ride it in my S.

Did anyone do it already?!

Pics?!

Greetings from Europe,

Yves

I recently did the drive to Hana from Kanapali, not in a S though. In my view, the drive is over rated. Them turns made me car sick. It's something you should do once. If your going to go again, Fly there, but if your going to drive, try and go the back way to Hana from Makawao. It has a strip of 20 miles of unpaved roads that is cool. Feels like your in a rally course. The drive is less turns but fun. The view is cool. Park along several spots on the way and hike down to the cliffs and check out the view. If your going there again, try and take this tour I went on. It's Maui Cave Adventures. You explore a underground lava tube. Take the 2 1/2 hour tour, not the walking tour. The 2 1/2 tour you explore more of the lava tubes than the other tour. You crawl, rock climb, etc... to secret cave rooms of the tubes, it's cool. Check it out.
