Hey all
The mugenator (ha ha ha!) will be there. But I'll be running my street rubber, as I still haven't received my aftermarket wheels/rubber.
I'm suffering from auto-x withdrawal...

Hello marcpaco
Yeah....they're on my Christmas list.....

I'm just trying to figure out a way to do it that won't cost me so much. It's looking like about $1500 for the rims, $600-800 for the tires, and then I'd have to find a trailer or some way of getting them there.....ugh.

just drive there on 'em...much easier to swap stuff at home than at the track...i did it this way for 2 years, then got (even more) lazy...so the r-compunds are now on the car full time...

Why not just pick up a set of OEM wheels for your car? I was thinking of getting some Volk CE28s for racing but it didn't make sense to drop $2k on wheels that I would only use a portion of the time. Plus (God forbid) if I wreck at least it will be on stock wheels. Spending $2k on wheels just to get them curbed, scratched, or destroyed is just more anxiety. If you can afford them then great but if you are in a financial bind, just pick up some stockers.
