woah, i thought fedex only had 2nd day air shipping to hawaii? 30 bux for shipping really isn't too bad i guess. so you have to order from him over the phone?

You order online and then select pay by phone. It should be an option during check out. I'm very happy with the price. Can't wait to get back and install.

i had pretty much made up my mind to get the comptech and i was soo close to ordering it, but before i could, i ended up doing something really dumb. i misshifted from 3rd to 2nd instead of going to 4th. 
it wasn't an instant disaster as i caught my mistake pretty fast and slammed the clutch back in, however i'm paranoid now that i might have f'ed something up. needless to say, i'm saving my money til i can get it checked out. i'm praying that i got lucky and nothing happened...

WOW, that really sucks I did that to my rental car over here.....GOOD THING ITS A RENTAL!!
Well I havn't even seen mine yet and I'm kinda wishing that I went with the AEM V2. I just wished it didn't look so empty under the hood with the V2 CAI in there. O WELL It's already to late for me to change my mind. I'll just try it out for a while and then if my exhaust isnt to loud to me then maybe I'll be sellling mine for the V2.

I actually bought Kev's Comptech. I had it installed at Honda. I was too lazy to do it myself. I like it I guess, I don't really even notice a change in sound. Maybe just a little and mostly at Vtec. The only problem is the buzzing sound that it makes on deceleration sometimes. ( when I use engine braking.)
