Any one got JDM or cleared out headlights? Do cops in hawaii bother you folks much if you do? Do cops in general bother s2k owners in general? I like this board a lot better then the clubrsx board i came from....the users here seem much more mature and helpful. (plus i hate when threads get jacked and its a flame war)

I have had JDM headlamps for over 2 years and have not been bothered by police for them. I just tell them that they are OEM equipment and both times the police officers have said oh ok.

I didnt have cleared lights but I have been pulled over twice for speeding and no front plate. Both times I was let go with a warning. And one time I didnt have safety check, insurance, driver's license, and a new license plate without the registration sticker. And he still let me go. Must have been the Jedi mindtrick I played on him. Good luck!

I think how much you will be harassed by cops is directly proportional to the type of mods you make (the more you do, the more they harass), and the younger you look, the more chances of harassment go up.

Well im old (not like Colin old)...and hopefully i wont have no body kit and crazy drop...just rims and some subtle things, cleared lights, oh and maybe exhaust. thats about it. so hopefully cops wont bug me too much.

I don't think you will get bothered with those kinds of minor cosmetic mods.
So long as you don't slap on Fast and Furious graphics on the side of your car

acutally i was thinking of painting it pink and slapping on a veilside kit with pink furry seatcovers. sorry i dont like quite as hot as Devon Aoki though....
