No, thats not me. I have never been to that forum until I clicked on it here. Thats very interesting. The pictures are of my car back in June of 2002 but I didnt post any of that. I also responded to that thread. I had to sign up first though.

Thanks for pointing that out Rick.

hey chris, I see you got your hardtop installed ok. Any problems? Looks great. I just recently broke down and bought the eztop hardtop hoist and installed it in my garage. (yay, I have a garage now.) A little pricey, but it works like a charm.

I didnt have any problems at all. It took about 2 hours to complete. The dealer wanted to charge me $400. I knew I could do it myself. My roommate also helped me out.
You coming back out to Oahu?

Yeah, the install was definitely worth saving $400. It's a no-brainer. But don't you just love the sound when you had to beat your frame up with a hammer? My roommate came out and wondered what the hell I was doing and saw me hammering my car to death.

no plans to come back out yet. The project I'm working on now has potential trips to DC and to PACOM (Oahu), but I haven't heard anything about a trip yet.
