Checked out the Cruise (Oct 7)
Well my friend L10 and I decided to check out the cruise before we had to head back to Waipio for our weekly basketball game. We got to meeting spot 20 minutes before the 11am meet time and ended up being the first guys to be there. We setup some chairs, tripods and our cameras just to see what goes on during these things. I thought there'd be more to show up but heard that more joined in en-route to other points. We sat on the Bouganville-side entry into the lot (you can see us in the first pic). I was the only S and L10 was the only Celica there, seen in the first pic.

Initial impressions:
From what I hear, the turnout was good but we didn't stick around long enough to see the entire thing. Considering that this cruise was planned a long time ago, I thought the actual coordination of the event could've been improved. There was no routes being passed out other than what people were spreading via word of mouth. Based on my personal experience, when a team hosts an event, it's customary to go around and introduce themselves then have them bring everyone together for a short discussion as to what to expect when the cruise starts... but this wasn't my event so whatever works for them I guess.
The next stop was the boat harbor in Hawaii Kai in which a half dozen HPD chased them out soon afterwards (there wasn't much parking anyhow), then it was onto the lookout then to Sandy Beach with more HPD waiting for them. L10 and I decided to chill near the farside bathrooms where I saw a berlina AP1 S2000 with 2 guys inside. This would be the last stop for us since it was nearing our court time.
I was proud of my neighbor's crew "Praised" who're primarily a bunch of guys in trucks as they were cool not burning out or acting stupid like cutting people off and racing on the streets, but there was a few Scions, Preludes and Civic/Integras that was caught doing some stupid stuff, pissing someone off, you can read about that story here http://www.forumshawaii.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=355821 .
I want to post my pics up after I edit them a bit, but could use some good suggestions as to sites to upload them to, like Imageshack, etc... Not sure which ones are good or what not.

I kinda got there late, i joined up with everyone at windward mall where i had lunch. When i came out the whole parking lot was full. surprisingly no on was acting stupid. But HPD came there 20 mins later. then the next stop was Home Depot in Kapolei. When i got there there were only like 20 people. so i then decided to go home and call this the lamest car cruise ever. lol

Not sure, the ticket is dated back in 2004. As of right now getting caught driving 30mph or more over the speed limit is a felony so there's a huge fine involved, SR-__ as well.

I have a pic of his car, not sure if it's boosted. It says he got the infraction on Pali Hwy. My guess is he got caught driving fast downhill, in which case 150mph is realistically possible without boost.
