Default Can anyone lend me a set of stock rims for recon?

Long story short, I got pulled over and the cop got me for no recon and few other things . Just scheduled an appt for recon on Fri/25th. I'm rolling on 18x9+22 RG2s with 215 stretch tires, and was wondering if anyone would lend me their stocks for my inspection, Thanks alot.

The recon paper will list if u have aftermarket wheels or not. If u get pulled over and the leo sees that, your recon could get taken away. Yes, wheels are not a recon item. However, if u hav recon, the wheels and tires must be listed on the paper.

scais2k, thx for the info, i thought since they don't recon the rims i can just swap my Advans back on after, didn't want them to fail me for stretch tires.
bouford, yeah i guess i'll just give that a try, thx.

i dont think they'll fail you for stretched tires. i mean, there are people running way skinnier tires on similar sidth wheels. i thought as long as the tire tread is under the fender?

^np just don't want u wasting ur time getting recon and then possibly having it taken away.

215 on a 9" isn't too bad. I suggest that u drop by the recon station and ask one of the inspectors if they could take a quick look at it.

As long as the tire thread is inside the fender and you don't have excessive camber wear you'll be fine.

Kirr make sure you have an alignment within 30 days prior to your recon appointment
