Here's the silent movie. Unfortunately, my camera has no mic.

Too bad my camera's memory ran out before the end of the race. Not much to see anyway, since we have an archaic set-up here in good 'ol Hawaii.

Here's the slips. Check out the crappy reaction time on my first run (noob).
first run: (mine is on the right, silvers808 on left)
second run: (mine is on the left, silvers808 on right)

Nice! Your first run looked like you got off on a good launch, although your reaction time wasn't too good. The second race like you said you were spinning the wheels and the 60 ft times prove that. Thanks for taking you car down the tracks, it's something I would have never done in my S. Oh yeah, thanks for kicking my butt on the freeway home too.

A mixed bag of feelings for me about my first run. I knew that the 1/4 mile runs at HRP run about a half second slower than the mainland times (crappy track), but I'm kind of disappointed that I got a slower time the second time around. I think my mistake was revving too high on the second run.
To be honest, I also thought that I would have a bigger advantage over Conner, since he is running stock and I've got many mods. Granted, he's got much more experience at the track, but that doesn't affect the final times and my car didn't even have a half second on his. Of course, we'll have to switch rides, as he may be able to extract better times out of my car than me.

Looked like a good race to me.
Stephen, those mods you have show up and now I have a base-reference point to use as a comparison for your car and mine.
The reaction times were horrible on the first run (similar to my first time), but those gears helped propel you for a superior 60 foot and an 1/8 mile distance anyway. The second run's reaction time was much better, but tire spin is tricky to control at such high rpms (balance between bogging and keeping traction is the hardest part)
The part that I'm focusing on are the trap speeds which are most consistent around 97mph versus Silver's times around 94's. From my calculations, it would appear that Stephen would have about 15-20hp more than Silver's stocker, plus the added plus of having a mechanical advantage.
I bet Steve's car was loud as hell down the strip.
