I curse all you S2000's and your stinkin' 9000 RPM redline.
Nah, only jokin. Good runs for all you guys. I really wish the girlie car redline had another thousand RPM, I may have worried Jimmy a little bit if I was not bouncing of the rev-limiter so often.
By the way, I need to return your Mini-DV tapes and I like watch your newest videos.
Zoom-Zoom, Avery

I disagree with Panos on this one. Yes, we need to provide a safe venue, however, Solo II is promoted as a way to learn more about your car. These people need to LEARN how to handle the extra speed and if we don't have fast courses occasionally, they never will. We need to find a way to gradually build up so participants can build up to more speed in a safe way.

I can see both sides of the story on this one... however I'm with Colin on this one. The track can be set to be quick as it was, but perhaps we could work on the layout a little more in key areas and still keep the face pace.
However from Pano's viewpoint, I totally agree with focusing on safety first also. It's times like this that I wished that we were back at Barber's Point instead of HRP.

Personally, I really enjoy these higher speed courses too. I feel like I'm really "racing" the car as opposed to "autocrossing" the car through the more technical type layouts. I'm just relaying what I heard from our Safety Steward and I understand his concerns.

Hi Avery,
Actually we've already been taping you a bit, I think Jimmy got some of you last week and I might have gotten a little bit as well. I'm thinking of suggesting at the next autox that everyone who videos their runs from either inside or out, drop off the tapes here at Pflueger Acura with the receptionist. If they put it in an envelope with their contact information, I can log the video I'm looking for, and bring the tapes back here when I'm done. They can them pick them up when it's convenient. I could possibly even mail them back.
