Guy holding up hand in the hat. I recognize that very pale skin anywhere.... Pat Olsen, right? (aka: Legacy Flip Video at Lime Rock... that was him)
Tell him "KC says Hi".
(It'll blow his mind)
Don't tell him how tho. (He's from Connecticut and moved out there a couple years ago)

Pat Olsen is a hell of a driver. I know he considers himself the permanent 2nd place next to Curtis Lee's permanent 1st place, but I will beat him, oh yes, I will beat him (muahahahahaha muahahahahaha!)

What do you do to the urethane bushings to keep them from squeaking anyway? Do we wanna know?

hey guys... looks like fun. I like the idea of an auto-x on a racetrack.
Last Sunday the WWSCC autocross had 197 pre-registered participants.
I'd love an event with <100 - we could get more than 4 runs in for sure.

197 pre-registered entrants!!?! That's quite a production!
Getting into the 90's is on the high side for us. I think we average somewhere between 70-90 entrants and all get 4 runs with usually enough time to spare for some 'fun runs' at the end.
I've only autocrossed on a race track, since I wasn't participating when they had the hangar out on the military base (since closed to SCCA due to 9/11). Most liked the security of little to no probability of damage to your vehicle in the big parking lot. There have been several crashes since the change to a race track. In the beginning, I hear it was 1 wreck per event!
As for me, you know I'm a man of mystery, a man of danger...

a man of $$$ labels!
As much as I dislike NASCAR - we are pulling for a superspeedway to be built up here so we can use the parking lot for autocrosses and with luck maybe there will be a road course in the infield...
