This is Stephen's way of volunteering my house for videos....
We could do this at my house, but Jimmy may have to sit on your lap due to space constraints.

Oh Gawd.
The Spoon snorkel is okay for use in BS (well technically someone can protest it but I don't believe it'll provide any major gains in autox) so you should be ok.
Best Motoring vids at Colin's house it is... then we'll discuss strategy for dealing with the AWD turbos. They have their weaknesses too, we just need to exploit our strengths more.

SMcurry, Thanks for the invite. I just got a video, it might be old.
Hyper, This is off topic, but i c in your post you have a VAFC. How do you like it? I'm considering it because i like the lights!!! and to lower my Vtec engagement point 200rpm. don't really want to mess with the mixture part of it. Did you get to do the second Dyno tuning yet. If not, when? and can I watch?

The VTEC engagement point was set to 5850 on my car going up an set to 5750 going down. The tuners in Hawaii (Hypersports, Naka's) aren't very knowledgeable with tuning with VAFC's IMO, so I had them set my AF ratios to my own specifications, which averages about 13.3 (to be on the safe side) at the tailpipe and about 12.1 at the VTEC engagement point. If I had my own wideband O2, I'm confident that I could do a better job at tuning my own car.
The HP numbers showed about 209 before and with my mods and VAFC tuning, I got about 218 at Naka's, but they don't monitor coolant temps plus they originally ran the car in 3rd gear (which is supposed to be done in 4th) so we had to redo all of the runs again. I'm certain that heatsoak came into play by then.
I have a few items on order which should help me tune the car a little more precisely, but they're backordered for 3 months.

Hey all....I just got my S2000 a couple months ago and also just moved to Oahu a couple weeks ago. I was involved in autocross back in Colorado (raced my 2000 Maxima in STS class) and I can't wait to get out there with my new S2000 in A Stock!! Also the day at the racetrack sounds sweet!!!!!!!!! I'll definitely be out for that too!
Just a couple questions....how much do the autocross and track day cost here? IS there anything I need to put on the car before it goes to the track?
Also, where is a good place to get magnetic #'s for my car? I'm thinking A-Stock #5, unless it's taken.

Hawk,
Autocross is 17 for SCCA members, and 25 for non-members. This is for 4 runs. If we finish early, fun runs are available at $1 a run. Nobody is campaigning a 2004 S2000 in AS right now, but all the results and reviews are here at our local website: SCCA Hawaii You can use the dropdown menus to see the past events under Solo II
