Default AP1 S2K @ corner lot

Well, I'm kinda in a standstill.

I like my Subaru quite a bit now, but miss the S (yeah I've beat that to death, sorry). Some dealership next door to Wally Ho's has an '02 S2K with C-West kit w/new paint, new'ish SO-2 tires on stockers, AEM CAI, Megan Header, Blitz cat-back, berk test-pipe, lowered 1.5" on springs, and VAFC2 w/38k miles. The paint's like a suzuka blue with red pearl accent. I liked it.

With trade of my Subaru they're looking $26k out the door. It's a tad high to me, but I know S2K's are hard to come by in Hawaii... especially in this great condition. I use to be a salesman so from a realistic POV, $26k isn't terrible with a trade on an '04 WRX I JUST bought. Also, I'd part out the car for stock parts b'c I don't like to stand out that much, so the extra $$$ from selling the parts would compensate some.

Whatcha guys think?
Thanks.

I think that is overpriced, and if I understand, you said 26k with trade of your Subi.

The Mitsubishi Dealer across Westridge -- Three blocks going toward Best Buy has a White AP1 displayed. Slight drop on OEM wheels with OEM front lip. Check it out.

That's way too much! If it's the same one that Skanktwo and I are thinking of, he was trying to sell it fro 19k not too long ago. I can't believe they're asking 30k...I hope nobody's stupid enough to go for that. I'd say move along and look for a different one, unless they give you a better deal.

Yeah, I'm hoping no one does actually pay $30k for it. I just saw it and figured I'd take a visit down memory lane. Yup, $26k with trade of my Subi. I really wouldn't go for it unless it's $24k... mainly b'c I did just buy the WRX. I won't be going back. Rather just pay on the Rex for about a year and sell it outright. Then try for another S.

$26K for an '02 is quite high. But then again, did you finance the WRX? Could it be that they marked it up since with the trade you'd have negative equity to carry over? It just sounds quite high for an '02 even though it has only 38K miles.

I think an '02 would be around $20-22K at the most. But if we're talking about a trade w/ lot's of negative equity, then I can probably see why. Question is:

Did you finance the WRX?
If so, how much do you owe?
What is the appraisal numbers (ACV= Actual Cash Value)?

If not financed, then $26K is high!
