I had this service done to a spare throttle body and it looks good, I'll let you know how it does after I install it.

Nate, you're measuring the wrong side. the inlet size is 66mm. the side mating to the intake mani is 62. that's the side that will be bored. the front probably will get the tapering.

all of the companies offering the modified TB's list 64-65mm as the max that can be bored without having to portmatch the manifold.

i'l probably do this mod too, i bought the TB for this reason, a cheap core for a spoon throttlebody.

can you put it on before your turbo and let us know how good it is? thanks

Ok, my bad. I didn't measure it I just used a reference from under the hood, which was obviously wrong. I'll just be quite until I have it on the car...

If anybody has one laying around, selling cheap let me know. I did this set with my four previous cars. Bored, tappered etc... in my opinion, you'll probally won't feel a difference. I did'nt notice anything when I did this, I just did it because it's to have a better flow etc.. than stock...
