Fred from the socal section recommended I hit you guys up.

I'll be in hawaii from june 3-10, and wanted to say hello. This is my 2nd trip, i'll be doing the touristy stuff like hanama bay, northshore, waikiki etc.

BUT! Does anybody know of anything else I should check out or any special event? I know there's a japanese festival going on.

Thanks again, cant wait to drown my face in loco moco at Big Kahuna's!

I watched the food channel last night and all the best teppan table chefs are from hawaii, anybody know any good spots near waikiki???

aloha!! the good thing is that the weather is looking nice again, so some beach action would be great. im not really sure what culutral events are taking place around the island but its summer so a lot should spring up.

come party in downtown on friday if you wanna drink and check out chicks. there's usually a pretty decent sized crowd.

If you are rooming in the waikiki area, explore the stuff they got there.

Also if you have a significant other tagging along alamoanacenter.com would be a dream for her haha.

At the airport, there are flyers and booklets that you can pick up for the sights and sounds. Also, go to your nearest barnes n noble and pick up a travel guide for hawaii, there is plenty to do here!
