**UPDATE**
I found a couple of nice places in Ewa to rent, pretty reasonable compared to most places. I havent been to that area during my visits so I just wanted to know if its a safe place. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Also I have a couple of phone interviews lined up the next couple of days so

agreed. ewa traffic sucks!!! i couldnt handle the commute. on the average its 1.5 to 2 hours to and from home everyday!!!
as far as crime, it depends on the neighborhood. the most recent murder was in one of the newer subdivisions, near my parents house
