Default AEM V1 intake for sale

This is a one time deal, as there was a mistake in the order. The part # is 21504-P
This is the version 1 polished intake for model years '00-'03 and is going for $165.
Let me know if you're interested as I'm selling it for a friend.

Do you know if there is any power gain from this intake? I was thinking about getting one but wasn't sure if it was even worth it.

Let me know if I can pay for it now and then pick it up from you when I get back in DEC. I don't think the wife is going to like it but hey its really cheap. Thanks

Bruce

Bruce, when I was stock except a Neuspeed exhaust, I ran even with my friend's modded WRX. After I installed the AEM intake (v1), I consistently pulled on him. He wasn't too happy about that. But, the sound alone from the intake will make you do this ->

For the sound alone, it's well worth it. It's like driving a new car all over again. You won't believe the sound of the intake when VTEC kicks in.

HUMMM.... So how much hacking is involved? I don't really care for the sound of the intake since I'm sure the exhaust is going to be pretty loud.

I agree with Rick. I rode with him when he first installed his V1 and it sounded awesome! Very aggressive sound. As for the hacking, Rick will have to answer that one. There are a couple of threads that show the installation procedure with pics.

It won't go away. You just won't be able to hear it anymore.

I would buy tht in a heart beat but since I got my Cwest bumper and J's vented hood, Im kinda sketchy about getting that filter dirty and wet. Theres holes all over the place where water and dirt can get to the filter.
