Geesh nate I think you were...mine hit back sometime around 1ish? by that time I was too tired to even plug the computer back in....so much time wasted. Oh well...it coulda been worse...I'm glad there was no major damage here on Oahu.

Elicit, how's your fam back home? Hope things are doing well for them. My aunt's house in Kaloko got rocked quite a bit. Well hope everyone is safe.

hey spanks.

everyone is fine. my dad is in china and mom and auntie were over here, they had to fly back and spent the whole day in the airport to get home to gramma but she's fine too.

a lot of stuff broke in the house but nothing major. how about your mom's house? she's really close to us.

i'm not sure what it's going to be like for my aunt and uncle since they work in the hospital.

thanks to everyone that's concerned for us. the state pretty much made it out OK. the power outages were a major headache but not a true emergency situation. i know there were some businesses around that lost some seious dough in perishable inventories, etc.

shit, even with no power i still took a break, went to betty's house and we had homemade hamburgers with grilled mushrooms and onions on grilled rye bread. we still eat like kings, even with no power. HAHA!!

Indeed, I was just commenting that if there's a 6.6 quake in India there are 10,000 dead, here and it's one broken arm! Amazing!
