Well as some of you know Cheryl and I are moving in about 5 months back to California. Anyway we decided to sell her car and pick up a 350z. We went to the Tony Nissan yesturday to test drive them. I must say this may be the car we get for her once we get back to California. I took it on the freeway and was impressed. I wanted to see how the Z could pull up hill with the AC on, up the freeway. So I pounded it in 4th then 5th and it got up pretty nicely. To me the car felt faster than the S2000 but the interior was not impressing. It looked cheap and the clutch pedal sat a little higher than the S2000. Overall its actually not a bad car for the price. The dealer was really nice and asked if I was going to trade my S2000 in and I was like UH NO! LOL
But we are going to get one for sure when we get to California. For the price, you cant beat it.

350 z vs s 2000 no chance iv'e raced one on the highway and pulled on it similar mod's on both our car's so you should not have to worry about your girl's car getting the best of your s plus consider buying the base model save the money you can get aftermarket brake's and suspension for a lot less than buying the track model plus you don't get traction cotrol on the base model great for a potential track car feel the neeed 4 speeed .

I drove the 350z track and it was very impressive. Handled dead on and good low and midrange power. but interior was kinda cheap. I have driven several S2000s and for long periods of time. I would definitely take the S over the z.
