$20 oil+filter change @ Pflueger
#12
It's not anything against Plueger, at least from me. It's just the fact of taking your car to the dealer for anything. THere are a number of things that can go wrong when changing your oil. First of all, you don't know if they're going to put the wrong oil in, they might not change the filter, they might not tighten the drain bolt, they might leave the oil filler cap off, they might lose your dipstick. All these things have happened, I'm sure. Not to mention, your car is the flagship car of Honda. I'm sure there are a number of lube-techs there that will want to rev the shizzle out of your car, or take it for a test drive. The best way to make sure it doesn't happen is to do it yourself.

me and elicit have had a bad time there (though my service at acura is great). they said that they couldn't find the trouble with betty's car, but said for $3400 they would fix it (?).
ben had the guys at tony change his oil and they forgot to tighten the filter. it bleww out on the freeway.
and just wait for nate's stories!
