so my brother finally posted his hard top install. IMG quality isnt the greatest and is missing some photos that would be nice to have, like the gap in the back. and the front corners.. but anyways, here are a few.
he says that it looks really good and hasn't complained about it yet. If you have a pic request of like a certain angle. Let me know and ill bug him about it.
Quote from my brother about the Hard Top
"A few things to mention:
-increase in aerodynamics is noticeable
-very comfortable view to the rear
-proper sealing takes a few attempts
-wind noise is minimal/decent; but better than softop
-When installing side seals, make sure window is operable and doesnt catch
-hardtop subdues my exhaust sound making it more pleasant to drive"

oh man, quite a few complications with the hardtop when installing Jon's Hardtop from forbidden.
First of all, the window was a huge problem to get installed.. the seal around the corner of the lexan kept trying to pop off. bought some window sealer and glued it in, taped books to hold it down. I highly recommend getting it installed professionally haha.
The hardtop looks nice though. had to figure out how to properly get the weatherstrips right, after a call fromy my brother. It turned out not bad.
The top latches were a small problem. the Left latch wouldnt latch because it would pull the hardtop further forward. Fixed this by drilling the 2 screw holes on the striker making it oval like and just slide the screws to the new spot. The other side fit just right though. I guess the holes on the left side of the hardtop wasn't measured right. Overall, with a 1275 hardtop, we didnt have high expectations so it was a whatev kind of thing.

So I believe our biggest problem was I should have left the seal on the window for 30min-1hr to let it seal to the window then install it into the window slot lol we rushed it because we wanted food lol
