try and stick with one company so you get the most points.
for example, out of DC area... Use United. They are usually the cheapest for short time fares.
and hotels? Hilton or Marriot. and try to pick one and stay with it. (I mean all their branded hotels, like hilton= hampton, embasy suites, etc)
your company is paying for all the traveling right?
just make sure you get all the mileage and hotel points cards.
also, another advantage to keeping to one brand... is you get automatic percs for free...
Like im a hilton platnum member so I get free internet, movies, water etc. and same as a marriot gold member.
and as a preffered united traveler I get upgraded to the bigger seats for free most of the time

I think the fancy hotels (Hilton and Marriott) are out, more like the holiday inn express (I am serious)

Hm - an actual buffet, where you walk in and then just pick the food off a tray? Or the good buffet where they give you a menu, choose what you want, eat it, then they bring you another menu?
$ 8.00 for a large plate though. I am full
Would have been $ 20.00 at a Sushi bar

this new company im with is like that... a little cheaper.
im in a holiday inn express right now.
but spring hill suites (marriot), hilton garden inn (hilton), SOME fairfield inns(marriot)... are all good hotels and cheap.
this new company pays me a certian amount for a night. I get 190 bucks to get a room, food, and transportation. so im looking out for better deals now (so i can take money home)
and im starting to like holiday inns more... the ones with bars etc are excellent.
do you have set places you are going? or is it just random places?

There is a local place, Momo's Sushi who has an awesome buffet on Sundays. Walk in and they give you the traditional paper menu - just check off how much you want. They also give you the appetizer menu which includes things like Muscles, Shrimp Tempura, Tereyaki Chicken, and Tereyaki Steak.
Basically you just check off what you want, then they make it and bring it over. Once you are done eating, they bring you another menu!
Total bill is like $30 with a drink. It's well worth it though, I only eat sashimi when I go there. Typically eat about 8 muscles and 50+ pieces of sashimi!
Usually do three rounds of sushi - 3 pieces of each first, 3 pieces second, 2 pieces third. It's usually about 10 different types of fish. So roughly 80 pieces of sashimi each time!
Trying to remember : Tuna, Yellowtail, Red Snapper, Eel, Smoked Salmon, Salmon, Crab... three others that I can't recall.

Thank you for making me laugh. I needed that.
Decided to do Saigon #1 for lunch, wasn't too bad!
